Candreil rolled her eyes "Heck if I care. heh. The machine has already spread Myloid to the Tech team. The cure is at the end of the old obstacle course in the cellar. I'd say fid it if you can........."

Blue shook her head. "Let him go for now. We need to find the cure for Myloid if it's spread. And we need to go to the cellar, ASAP."

"I think that`s because Ebola`s the only disease the government will let anyone know about," Richie said. "Who knows what other diseases could be out there? Remember the Raison Strain in Ted Dekker`s Circle Triology?"
"True. But I don`t think half the world`s population will die in 3 weeks, and that`s a story. This is real."
"Yeah," Richie agreed carelessly. "And we`d better get Cairo checked or something. I have a feeling that this isn`t just laryngitis."

Amuiga, who had been relatively silent, spoke up. "It is a compound virus. It and ghost disease are very similar. Myloid and ghost Disease are the too deadliest diseases, unless you are positive to ghost disease, in which case you can enjoy eternal youth. Myloid, on the other hand, tears down bones and muscles, and shuts down vital organs, unless you have ghost disease, which builds those up. If you have both, only one can be cured. The cure is Quarantine Alpha, which is the cure for both Myloid and Ghost disease..."

"Which Tarkonn stole......." whispered blue

"Yes, but eternal youth, Anna. I wouldn`t want that. Clair, who was that?" Richie asked. "And in the meantime, is there anyone looking for the quantam- whatever it`s called? Or are we just standing around here?"
"Richie, it`s more difficult than that. In the meantime, someone has to safely evacuate everyone, but first they have to be cured before they spread it to their families. They`re going to have to be put in a sanctuary or something while we`re looking for the cure. Also, there`s a concern about the leak. I think they`ll be more trouble if we don`t confront that problem. And we also have to track down Tarkonn, wherever he is." Anna shook her head. "It`s all too difficult to solve right away. It`s worse than the last time. And Richie, if you want to be cured, I think you should go to the sanctuary to wait."
"And get a worse chance of catching Myloid? I`m going with you. All this makes Ebola look like a cold."
"Not worse than the Raison Strain, though," Anna added with a smile.

Blue looked up. "I got it. We should all go. we should gear up, and we should go to the cellar wear it must be. Amuiga knows where it might be, so we can follow her. Everyone gets a B- or higher in mission practice, right?"

"One minute..." Clair said, exiting the room. She went out into the hallway. Jim was there
"I have bad news.."
"Oh, mine is worse.." Clair smiled, she saw someone with a knife in the reflection of his glasses.
"No, mine is. Any last words?"
"Yeah, I am not so easily folled, Jim" She put her hand on his shoulder and quickly did the James-Bond-Switch-Places-with-the-other-person-so-they-get-stabbed-insted-of-you -move
"oof!" The knife plunged into his stomach and he fell to the floor, she looked at him and shook her head. She looked up at the boy with the knife, but with him she wasn't fast enough,
he slashed her cheek and pinned her against the wall.

Blue heard a noise from outside. She ran out only to be caught by Essie Taylor, who was holding a pistol.

The boy with the knife hissed in Clair's face "come with me or die." she obeyed, she had her watch but he had her hand in a submission hold behind her back. And she had left her pistol on the table...S***....
