Milo Shrugged "I Already said it. Milo. And ....." she said turning to Laurel, "cute was not quite the effect I was aiming for. " she turned a bit toward August, and then turned away again. So far, everyone here was interesting. The Laurel girl was a bit weird, but, hell, who isn't. Lucius was definitely schizo, not that that was too surprising. But August........he seemed odd. He didn't look violent or disgruntled. In fact, he looked pretty docile, and kind of sweet, and this was unexpected, and emotionally disarming.

Cole blearily stepped out of the cart. He looked at each of them. Who could control, who could be controlled? He wondered casually. so far, all of them seemed like sheep. That was okay though. That meant the women would be responsive. The one still on the vehicle was definitely the cutest. the laurel girl was a close second. The only disappointment was the albino who looked like a boy in a skirt. But the prospects here....definitely looking good.

((August is very sweet. It's the point of his character. People also, before seeing him, mistake him for a girl because of his name and abnormally girly voice. Also, none of you can see/hear anything i say in italics.))

Laurel giggled "I mean your hair, luv. It looks cute."

"STARY!" August said, appalled. "No need to be rude!"

Milo smirked. " No need to be rude?" she asked inquisitively.

"....She was saying your hair looked like a dead rabbit." August said sheepishly.

Milo grinned "also not quite the effect I was going for....which she?" Milo said, sounding a little confused.

Charlotte shrinked as close to the window as possible.
So many voices... Why are they talking? They're speaking in silence but why? Why is this happening? The Terrifs are eating at their souls and they aren't reacting? They don't seem to notice them? But I can hear their screams, their loud, silent screams, and they're hurting my deaf ears!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" Charlotte screamed.
"Let me take over, sweet heart." She said to herself in an older tone.
"No, Mom, I can do this." She responded to herself.

Cole looked back towards the car. Yeah, that girl was hot.

"I asked who 'she' was, and you mumbled, and I said it was okay if you don't want to talk about it."

Milo shrugged. "oh well......Ummmm......" She smiled apologetically, suddenly ver yconfused. Why did she sound so lame, all of a sudden? She wasn't sure how she wanted to react to the things August said.

"So where exactly are we?" August said in his slight british accent

"Dr. maronkep's school I presume...."

"I was told it was an academy for the elite of somesort. Though my father never tells the truth. So...what is it...exactly?"

Milo shrugged. "A phsycho-teen therapyland or something. It's also a boarding school. from what I've heard, really small. Like, thirty kids or less at any given time. apparently you have to hand over guardianship rights or something though. I really only now what mom told me. I didn't have a chance to look it up before I got shipped off."

"Oh my."

Quite suddenly, the door of the old building opened, and a chill ran through everyone. Out stepped four people.

Leading them was a short man in lab coat. He wore a name tag, which read Dr. F.L. Maronkep, M.D.

"Hello children. My name is Dr. Maronkep. I will be your mentor for the next few years of your life. This is always an exciting experience for me, meeting my new students. Now, before people may have called you different. Not normal. Disturbed. Insane. Those words no longer exist, so long as your here. Here, you are a person. A unique identity. We believe in you here. ..." the speech went on for a while before the Doctor said "Now, down to business.

" Charlotte, you will be in room one with one of our juniors, Mandy. Milo and Laurel, you will be in room two. August, you will room with one of our seniors and mentors, Gordie.and Lucius and Cole, you will be in room four.
"This is your schedule:
Breakfast at 6:00 AM

Movements 9:05
social studies 10:20
Science 11:50
lunch 1:30
free period 1:30
counseling 2:45
After noon rec 4:00 (you can take a cart to Dustlund, if you wish to explore the town.)

lights out at 10:35, sharp.

"and finally, may I introduce the three other staff members. This pretty young woman over here is Anna Jemmie,in English and social studies.. Next to her, is the older Mrs. Enid Neimanerd, our vice headmaster and movements teacher. and this man is Mr. Elbert Lancaster, who teaches Math. I am your headmaster and science teacher.

"and now, how about you all come in. You're just in time for dinner."

Lucius stumbled out of the car and stared at the school, in an instant he head started screaming the piercing chorus of a thousand voice"AAAAAHHH!!", he screamed as he collapsed to to the ground "MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP!!" He started rocking back and forth pounding his head repeatedly

August stared at the group. THIS was not what he expected. He walked into the...(building?). Laurel followed.

Laurel kicked the boy writhing on the ground.
