The Science Experiments (redone and reloaded)

Tessa pressed herself against the bars of her cage, hoping against hope she could melt through the space in between the cold, unyielding bars. She'd tried all logical alternatives. And she hadn't been eating as much for the past few weeks, in hopes she would become skinny enough to slide between the icy bars that stood between her and freedom.

in the cell across from Tessa, Dormouse was curled in a small ball, shivering, and murmmering.

Viri stared at them, from inside her glass enclosure. Glass, because her spit could melt through the metal that held in Dormouse imprisoned. She wondered why they were standing upside down, then she realized she was standing on the ceiling of her translucent box.

Tessa rammed her fist against the bar in rage. It did nothing but make a large clanging nose, and make her fist hurt.

Isis was curled up, asleep under a heat lamp.

Echo sat against the metal walls, looking like a loser.

Lina sat on her honches and surveyed her fellow experiments. "any of you guys gonna wake up soon?"

"Warm.." Isis murmered.
