Miu noticed something cold on her chest. looking down, she pulled up a strange necklace. I don't remember putting this on..... Or even owning something like this! she thought. Suddenly the nurse reappeared. Only... She looked different... More, serious and grim and less human too! "The necklace you carry contains a liquified piece of a secret jewel. Known as the Midnight Winter Opal. Guard it with your life."
"Uh....I didn't sign up for this!!!?" said Miu nervously.
"If you let it fall into the aliens hands, they will use it to destroy the world!...." then the nurse vanished in an orb of light and left the girls shocked. "Um...... Eto........."

Hatsune fiddled with the necklace, she was completely silent. Then she said "Did your school go around asking for 'volunteers' for something?" She said thoughtfully

"Umm.... Yeah! i think so!"said Miu thoughtfully.

"I think that might have been us signing up for this. I was the only one at my school. What about you?" Hatsune said quietly

Konoko was fiddling with her nekles. " My school was doing the same........thing..." Konoko jumped up out of her bed and the tube from her hand fell off. "Kyyyaaaa!!!!! What a cute stuffed squrille plush!!!!" Konoko said . She skreached her ear but couldn't find it."WHHHHA!!!!!! Wears MY EAR!!!!!"

"I don't remember signing up for anything... But then again, it's normal for everyone to sign me up..." Neko figured. "Whats with the jitty charm?"

"whats a jitty charm?" konoko asked forgeting her ear

"I meant... KITTY!" Neko said smiling. "Hey, what are your names??"

"I'm Hatsune." Hatune said quietly, looking for her own ear. She didn't find it until she smoothed the top of her hair. "EEK!" she yelped, looking in the mirror by her bed. "I///I have..ears...P-p-panda e-e-e-ears..."

"i'm konoko.....and I have squiirle ears!" konoko said cheaching the top of her heead too

Neko panted the top of her head and felt two ears, but they weren't cat. "Wait a sec... I HAVE WOLF EARS!?!?!?... This is what you call irony isn't it?"

"Uhhhh.... can I go home. I don't like these hospital gowns very much..."

"Ya they show your your undies too much!" Konoko said getting off miu's bed

"True, they aren't very flattering." Hatsune said in a highly educated tone. She was sitting up straight and had seemed to have regained her composure.

" And there chilly!" Konoko added

"Does this place seem a tad deserted to you?" Hatsune said shyly "I think we may be the only ones here."

"Yeah... Is she gonna wake up?" Neko asked as she stood and walked over to Chi's bed. She kneeled down next to the bed and glanced up at chi's face.
