Operation: Partybomb

'Thanks!" said Mirinda. She nudged Nathan.


"uhh...Willow...uh, hi Willow.."

"Hi..."

Nathan smiled shyly. "Can I find where Miranda's hiding the punch and serve some to you?"

"19 minutes."

She looked at the ground as if she was adressing it "Yeah..That would be great..."

as Miranda dug out the punch for Nathan she said "Smooth. That is the most akward flirting I've ever seen!"

"Uhh, yeah." said Nathan as he took a cup full of punch for Willow.

Willow sat on a chair swinging her legs, she was overcome with happines, that was the only time she actually said something to Nathan...

Arabelle shook her head... ((her present is a pocket knife... wirecutters inclided... they are oh so useful...))

Nathan smiled as he handed her the punch.

Miranda ruined the mood by chanting "Go Nathan, go Nathan..." but by this time, Nathan was used to Miranda's antics........

Arabelle walked bye and took the punch from Nathen's hand "why thank you sweet! ... oh wait.. heh heh...." she then put the cup on Willow's head..... the anole was running around in circles on Arabell's shoulder. it squeaked.

Nathan sighed. The mood was so ruined.

Miranda smiled optimistically. " don't worry Nathan, you'll get your chance...someday.........."

Willow laughed and took the cup off her head "Thanks"

See, it wasn't all bad, Nathan..Now get back in action, Major flirt!"

Nathan desperately hoped Willow hadn't heard that part..................

"I know!" siad Miranda after a pause. "Let's explore the garden! Maybe they're is something behind the hedgerow!"

Willow rifled thrugh her backpack and took out a few flashlights
"We might need these..." she said, handing them each a flashlight.

the anole was squeaking it's head off now.. there was odviously something wrong.... "what's wrong? hey... maranda? mind if i use you typewriter really quick?"

" um, it's kind've in my room...Hey look! a porthole!

"Your cutting this early?"

"Yes. The sooner, the less threat."

"what is it?"

suddenly, an explosion happened!


"DOWN THE PORTHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Shouted Miranda!

Wilow slung her backpack over her shoulder and climbed in.

Arabelle jumped down..... holding her lizard so that it didn't fly away.

fire plumes rattled above they're heads. They found them selves climbing down a ladder as fast as they're feet could carry them. The realization dawned on them halfway down, as it was dark, damp, and cold. There was no going back. They may never see Government test again. They had to figure it out. They would have to win. If they did, things could go back. could return to a place of sun and sky, instead of living in a submarine, hiding forever. They had exited the overground and entered a business unforgiving of minor mistakes.


The end of the passage way brought them to a place lit by hanging lamps, illuminating a ready-to-run submarines, and the open hatchway, inviting them in.

"This seems so...anticipated..." Willow said, extremely confused...

"That bomb dosn't seem like a mistake..." whispered Miranda a little rattled.


Nathan looked around. "So, do we go for a ride? In the submarine?"


Miranda whispered "sure...I'll drive..."

they loaded in, and Miranda found the drive shaft. they began..........

"Lisa cammelez claims to have detected a submarine."

"tell her to guide it. Whoever set off the partybomb has some agents on his trail. we might try to see who they are.

"Hwo do you know how to drive a sub?"
