The Elemental War

((Forewarning: This is a combination of my love for chemistry and roleplaying, and though I am a smartass when it comes to the periodic table, It doesn't mean that I will use terms too complicated for the untrained mind. I am only using the table for a basis, and will not expand beyond that, no fusions, no compounds, just personification of the elements))

The Elements had not fought before. Lived in harmony, and tranquility, well except for the Lanthanoids and Actinoids who were a bit unstable. But then one group had and idea, and that idea started the war. The Alkali Metals said, "Hey, we're different than the other metals, we should be separated, our own group of elements." Soon after, their neighbors got on the idea too, and soon, the Separatists formed. But this did not pass well with the Transition and Other metals. And so the war began.

Fight for right or fight for unity, you decide.

The Loyalists are: Salmon and Dark Grey

The Separatists are: Green, Red, Khaki, Olive, and Cyan

You Cannot use: Purple, Pink, or any element with a dashed or dotted border

Once you've read enough about your element, assign it a power based on its characteristics (i.e. Diamonds are made of carbon, so carbon could have diamond hard skin)

Power: Does not conduct heat, and can create blue fire.

I don't like the periodic table of elements. I'm good at doing research on animals and plants and places and cultures, but I'm not so good at sciencey stuff....

All animals and plants are carbon-based, so HA!

Elemental Name: Lithium
Faction: Separatists
Appearance: Lithium is light colored and shiny, with black hair. He wears a black coat and pants, with waterproofed lining, and gloves. The one on his left hand has the tips of the fingers missing, so he can touch water with it. He wears a helmet with a red tinted faceplate, because air is teh bad for him.
Power: Can use oxygen/water to burn things, but if he's not careful he starts rusting/burning himself. He's harmful if part of him is inhaled (such as the rust (lithium nitride, produced in humid air)). Also is very agile/nonheavy (for being lithium).

and Burns red in low-fire, and white in high-fire

Elemental Name: Xenon
Faction: Seperatist
Appearance: He is nearly invisible, but sometimes some of his features are shown by a blue outline, and he is fairly heavy.
Power: Can radiate bright light and he's heavy! Come on!

Thats fine, but the only problem is, those traits can be applied to all of the noble gasses,
Xenon is very heavy, for a gas
Has high conductivity
Creates a blue-prominent rainbow spectrum when exited.

K...then, um...I'll change the form a little.

Yea, nobles bug me, they are EXTREMELY unreactive EXTREMELY similar, minus radon, and very confusing...
