Riverdale::Zombie Apocalypse Style (START!)

Aaron smiled gratefully, and ran over to Kimmie. "Is this it?"

"Yeah!" Kimmie giggled, and hugged Aaron "Thank you!" Cian yawned
"Rekey realized we're going to be late, I assume. I believe it would be beneficial if we all followed suit."

Rekey got into his seat right as the 2nd bell rang. he sighed and pulled out the correct notebook and settled down for class.

Sintri bolted in, and sat down behind Rekey. Aaron skipped in behind her, with a wide smile on his face.

Somehow Viri and Cian were already in their seats. Kimmie slinked into a seat near the back a few minutes later.

Rekey noticed them. "am i going to have every class with them?" he thought to himself.

Viri leaned over and whispered
"Yeah. You're set up to be in classes with the most successful students."

"My gods. They're most sucessful? And I have Cian in every class....oh god. I think I'll kill myself."

"Well I'm not sure that's the greatest ide-" Viri was interrupted by the bell ringing, and a woman's panicked voice over the intercom.
"This is a lock-out. This is not a drill." The intercom fizzled off. The kids in the classroom started to panic, the teacher hadn't arrived yet. Kimmie grabbed the teachers keys and locked the door. Some of the kids closed the shades, and on her way back to her desk, Kimmie flicked the lights off. She hid under the same desk Viri was under. Cian was wondering how the hell he would fit under a desk without exiting his wheelchair.

Sintri and Aaron hid under the same desk. "So howsit going with Kimmie?" Sintri asked in a whiper. "Okay, I suppose" replied Aaron

((wh-aait a secooond! this was almost certainly not nine pages long last time I checked...))

((We're under tables in calculus. lock-something drill. or something.))

((oooooh goody!)) Rekey went over to Cian. "Want some help?" He asked.

"Yes....Please.." Cian felt sortof pathetic.

Rekey smiled kindly and helped Cian out of his wheelchair and under the desky table thing. He then hid under the same one so he could help Cian get back up. "Sooo- whaddya think is out there?" he asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Most likely alien mobsters, genetic mutations, zombies...." Cian said absolutely seriously.

Rekey looked a bit worried. "Funny. I was sorta thinking the same thing..."

"And lawn flamingos."

Sinrti sat patienyly.

Suddenly, one of the classroom windows broke.

"What the...." said Sinrti

Kimmie squeaked and hid behind whoever was nearest her.

Most of the girls in the classroom screamed and ran for the door, but it was locked.

Cian climbed back into his wheelchair with some difficulty, so he could get a better view of what had broken the window.

Viri could see him clearly. No- not him, it. He- err- it was a factory worker, clothes tattered and torn, its face was pale, and blood seeped glutinously from deep gashes on its torso and arms. Viri wasn't afraid of it. And that's what made her nervous.

Sintri and aaron cautiously crawled out.
